This workshop is an introduction to Mindfulness Practice-a habit of “checking in” with ourselves in a compassionate way on a regular basis to help guide our choices and actions in a way that supports our overall health and well-being during challenging times and everyday wellness.
You will learn:
- Mindfulness Practice as a core support for stress reduction and self-care.
- Several methods of cultivating mindfulness in your daily routine.
- How to practice these methods to meet moments and yourself with compassion and kindness.

Dr. Verni is affiliated with the Rutgers University as a training and consultation specialist providing trainings throughout the state of NJ on Mindfulness and MBSR-Mindful based stress reduction for behavioral health care workers providing support for children and families. He is one of the core faculty at the Krame Center for Contemplative Studies and Mindful Living and currently maintains a private practice in Highland Park integrating mindfulness in his clinical work with youth and mature adults and couples.
